The Web Capitals is always on the lookout for Interns and contributors!

Internship (Hiring Now for Winter 2023)

Undergrad students and Fresh Graduates with solid English writing skills are highly encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity to nurture your passion for writing and strengthen your writing skills while you work from home at your own pace. This programme will also give you the chance to gain real-world work experience and network with new people.

Requirements:

  1. You’re incredibly passionate about writing, journaling, or anything creative.
  2. You’re a student who has passed HSC/A-levels equivalent examinations.
  3. You must be 18 years (plus) of age. Graduates are encouraged to apply as well!
  4. You’re dynamic and keen to learn new things, want to strengthen your skills and writing abilities.
  5. Primary computer and Google Suite skills.
  6. You’re good at time management/multi-tasking!
  7. Basic SEO knowledge is a plus!

Responsibilities: 

  1. Writing blogs about ongoing issues, technology, lifestyle & fashion, health and beauty, and more exciting topics.
  2. Idea Generation for creating interactive and enlightening blog posts, social media content.
  3. Sharing the contents with your friends and families!

  1. You will be receiving 2 certificates after the completion of your internship period, which is 3-4 months.

  4. Learn about on-page and off-page SEO; we will be arranging classes and webinars for you to learn more about content writing!
  5. Gain real-world work experience and work on super exciting topics that are going to drive your passion for writing and the creative industry on the whole.
  6. You’ll have your own published sample of work which is going to help you build your portfolio as a writer.
  7. The period is short and the hours are flexible, hence you will get to work on your own means.
  8. We’ll be arranging ‘intern of the month’/’writer of the month’ awards!

  10. The experience is going to help you strengthen your resume and your skills significantly. (We are more than happy to write you recommendation letters whenever!)

Contributors (Hiring Now)

Requirements:

  1. Proven content writing experience (having a portfolio of published articles).
  2. Working knowledge of content management systems (mainly WordPress).
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Excellent writing and editing skills.
  5. Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
  6. Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.

Salary: based on experience, number of words, and quality of work (paid per article/negotiable)
